The Sundering

(Fruited Hazy Pale)
ABV: 3.7% | SRM: 6 | FG: 2.8 | IBU: 30

The Sundering is a juicy/hazy pale that has been 
aggressively hopped on the cold side with Azacca and Galaxy to 
emphasize the tropical fruit notes. Simple malt profile to help 
emphasize not only the hop profile, but the fruit additions as well. 
Biotransformation hops were added and then the beer crashed. 
Once all the hops and yeast material were removed, we added 
post fermentation fruit consisting of two parts guava to one part 
passionfruit. The Sundering is our ode to the last days of summer 
as we enter the colder days and longer nights. Hazy in 
appearance, the aroma is passionfruit/guava forward with a hint 
of tropical notes from the hop profile. It drinks with a medium 
body, slight bitterness, but then a punch of guava and 
passionfruit. Uplifting and complex, it certainly a respectful 
goodbye to the last days of summer.

Appearance: Hazy, dark straw to subtle orange hue, white head
Aroma: Guava, passionfruit, orange peel
Flavor: medium body, sweet fruit, slightly bitter
Mouthfeel: creamy, pulp, juicy
