Stay Gold is a classically inspired English Golden ale with a subtle
twist... we have added a small addition of rye malt to offset the
sweetness of the malt profile which adds a lovely spicy aspect to
the finish. Malt forward, this beer offers a lot of complexity in its
recipe. Sweet upfront with stone fruit characteristics it then ends
with a baking spice note very reminiscent of the rye malt. Hopped
with Adanna primarily, this hop varietal adds a nice herbaceous
complexity that mixes well with the rye and other fun malts. We
then pulled off 2 barrels of finished beer and aged them in gin
barrels for 9 months and then blended them back into the original
beer. We wanted subtle notes of the cask to come through but not
overstay their welcome. The base beer is still the star, but there
are subtle, and deeper flavors of wood, vanilla, juniper in the
finish that make you question what exactly you are drinking.

Appearance: clear, copper, bordering on orange hued
Aroma: herbaceous, malty, spicy, subtle woody notes
Flavor: medium body, slight malt bitterness, stone fruit, juniper 
and vanilla finish
Mouthfeel: clean, crisp, sharp
