Orange Hopsicle

Hazy Pale w/ Lactose

Orange Hopsicle is a hazy pale ale brewed with lactose sugar. Hopsicle is a very exciting beer using a crazy amount of Mandarina Bavaria hops and Citra which give off tons of orange aromatics and flavor. It was aggressively hopped in the whirlpool and a post fermentation dry hop with a bunch of sweet orange peel. Adding the hops during the cooldown of the whirlpool and 24 hour dry hop adds so much more flavor and aromatics of the hops with little to no bitterness. Vanilla was added upon transfer to the brite tank to give it more of the creamsicle feel. Overall this beer is exactly what it was supposed to be, a highly crushable adult ice cream in beer form perfect for the summer weather.

Flavor: orange juice, creamy vanilla, creamsicle, orange peel, soft bitter
Mouthfeel: medium Boyd, creamy / silk with a pillowy sweet finish
