Altbier is a top-fermenting beer that was a style originally from Düsseldorf, Germany. Which means it is technically an ale but it is fermented and treated like a lager. The balance of hops and malt strikes this beer as an all time classic. Altbiers are meant to be copper colored, crisp, clean with a lighter body. You CANNOT go wrong with a classic style of beer from the mecca of bier.

Aroma: Chocolate, light caramel, biscuit, honey 
Flavor: Balanced, clean hop flavor, lingering maltiness 
Mouthfeel: Smack of maltiness, touch of Vienna sweetness
